Loaded some more, I have not touched anything of the seating die and got .003 longer seating depth that's the only difference.
Where's the node? from 71.6 to 71.4?
A couple questions about berger bullets, I was using the 168 hunting vld but due to unavailability I bought some 168 target vld. Will they shot the same with the same load? I mean if I found an accuracy node for the hunting one switching bullets will get me out of the node?
Also I wonder if the target ones will be suitable for hunting?
I'll try only with the one that drifts less because the hornady beam scale drifts a lot more just removing and putting back the pan, I am going to check hornady's warranty. Cleaned and polished the dies with iosso and a bore mop hope this helps too.
I am using 2 cheap digital scales that are more accurate than the hornady balance beam I have. Seating pressure is pretty consistent although there is some variation sometimes. With the accubonds it's hard to get consistent seating depths, don't know why because with bergers it is pretty consistent. Switching powders is very difficult because the stupid restrictions imposed by our government (we only have two brands of powder to choose) so is switching primers (we aren't allowed to have more than 200) with all these restrictions it is still more difficult to develop a good load. That having said, I am going to switch primers.
