Worked with a new load today.
3.5 grains of Titegroup under a Ranier plated 124 RN.
A 48 ounce pistol gets heavy after 100 draws.
I need to start doing curls again.
Shot half of a brick of 22LR out of the Kimber too.
Concentrating on first round hits from the draw after the starting beep.
Time to start spraying for bugs and weeds to keep my firing lane clear through the woods.
Next project is a rifle firing position of sand set Pavers over gravel for drainage.
Then I get the rifle back into the rotation for some 50 yard small bore.
New holster for my Shadow 2 is nice.
Nearly 5k of 9mm since November.
POS Taurus 44 Magnum broke. It is sidelined. I think that the frame stretched from being fired too frequently with some modest loads. Last shot wedged the bullet in the forcing cone and the cylinder flopped open. Cylinder will not even latch now. Loads were well below book max. Didn't even finish the 250 round box of Berry's 240 HP.
Walther / Colt 1911 22LR clone broke a striker and Walther sent the replacement for free.
The Kimber Rimfire Target just keeps on rocking.
Will probably have a blister come up on my thumb from where it rubs against the extended left side safety on the CZ with my high grip. I may remove the safety and dress the sharp edges with a small file and emory paper. Need to get some cold blue first.
