I normally follow the recipe above however last night I decided to experiment:
2 pounds ground burger, cooked
3 Tablespoons Onion Powder
1 1/2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
2 cups tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 tablespoon horseradish mustard
A dash of apple cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
A few dashes of liquid smoke
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and Pepper
McCormick's Garlic and Bell Pepper Seasoning generously applied
2 Tablespoons raw sugar
Added enough water to make it a wee bit more sloppy.
Mix everything together over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes, serve. This had a nice mix of a slightly BBQ sweetness but classic sloppy joe tang It hit the spot.
