To celebrate, I'll share a picture of me right after boot. All I wanted was unmolested sleep. lol Seems like a million years ago.

This is my squad leader and later my batallion fire support element chief, SFC Kristopher Domeji. He was the prototypical NCO; technically and tatically. I would have followed him into hell. He was killed in action on his 14th deployment, on October 22, 2011. Just one of those things I can never allow myself to forget.
