Reloading 300WM

I recently purchased a 300WM with a 26" Barrel in a 1/9 twist.
It came with some Berger Tactical 230 grain bullets. My plan is to work up some loads, but I have only ever loaded for .308 Win.
I would greatly appreciate any advice!

H1000 powder.
Magnum primer of your choice. I like CCI-250
Winchester brass does well. Norma seems fine also. (no doubt there are bad lots)
I'd start somewhere around 70gr and work up. Set them .010" off the lands to start as long as they fit in your mag.

If H1000 isn't producing nice groups... step up to Retumbo.
