Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken with Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
1lb chicken breasts halved
1lb sliced bacon
Cream cheese or laughing cow cheese of desired flavored
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Pinch of parsley
Pinch of garlic powder
Pinch of onion powder
Pinch of celery salt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 stick butter
Dab of chicken bouillon
Fresh cracked pepper to tasteDirections:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Add whatever spices you want to your cream cheese (or buy the flavored stuff). Next, wrap chicken in wax paper, using meat tenderizer, beat chicken until 1/2", spread cheese on breast then wrap in bacon. Stick toothpick in it to keep it together. Place on baking sheet, bake for 30-40 minutes until juices are clear.While chicken is baking, mix together soup, milk, spices, butter, bouillon and pepper to taste. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring until desired consistency.
When chicken is done in oven, turn broiler on high and cook chicken for 5 minutes, or until bacon is crispy.
Place chicken on plate and spoon mushroom sauce over it. Serve with your favorite side.
