Martini MKIII Long Range

I worked on my MKIII today to get as much range as possible. Zeroed at 50 yards I am only 15 clicks off the bottom. At 12.5 minutes per revolution I have just over 100 minutes of elevation. That will get me out over 400 yards. I only shot that distance once and the shots were more like a bunch than a group. Hope to do better next time. Wayne

Those old school unertl's and similar period scopes are so very neat. :)

I have a couple vintage unertl scopes that are inherited, but I'm afraid to crank on them too much because they seem so fragile. Glass quality is impressive though and they do look really cool...especially on vintage rifles.
