Bushing dies for a Gas gun

Are bushing style dies worth it for an AR-10/15, over standard RCBS or Hornady dies?

You mean a neck sizing die with bushing inserts right?
The most common reason guys go with FL sizing dies on semi autos is for reliable feeding. Some semi autos have really big chambers which will blow the brass up, so you FL size it to bring it back. However if you have a nicely chambered barrel, then yes you can neck size only just the same.

FL sizing dies are a better route to go anyway. Double true in semi-auto's.
