The choice between Hitlery and Trump is no choice at all. It's like the choice between taking a small bite of something that isn't very tasteful or having your intestines and all your organs pulled out through your goddamn nose while being kept alive and awake by machines the entire time.

I do not think the US will survive a Hitlary presidency.
The SCOTUS is up for grabs; all we need is 1 more mentally defunct appointed lawyer for the death of the Constitution. With the ages of the judges, there more than likely will be more seats opening due to death and retirement. That in itself should be enough motivation for everyone to get out and vote for Trump.
Trump is getting the same treatment Reagan got from the GOP, his problem, as was Reagan's, is that he is not a member of the club.

We are seeing the true color of these so called Republican "Conservatives" ; if they truly gave 1 iota about the Constitution and the future of the US they would back Trump.
Granted Trump is not the image of one of the founders, but he is definitely a Nationalist and I believe he will put this country back on track.The donor class has no party, they pull all the strings; the party differences are a diversion.

Trump has been in the media focus for the last 40 years. He has been consistent on the American economy. He has never been called a racist or any other current PC patrol slur until he decided to move forward as a presidential candidate. He has actually built a number of successful businesses and truly created jobs. How many politicians, both past and present, can honestly say that?
Although he has vacillated on the 2nd Amendment in the past, I believe he has seen enough over the years to realize it's unabridged importance; this is something I have experienced with family members.
It is amusing that all of these RINO Repubs (no offence rhyno:smile: ) were kissing his ass for money just a few years ago. They would take his dollars, but now they can't get behind him.

I don't know Trump. Never met him. All I know of him is the tiny bit I've seen on TV. How well can you know someone you've never met and never spent time with? Why would you trust them? It's clear to me he is the "lesser evil," without question. However, for all we know he could be the anti-christ and is just better at lying than the rest of them.
He has my vote, only because I refuse to give it to hitlery. He doesn't have my trust... and unless he spends 8 years proving to be trustworthy by his actions viciously and uncompromisingly defending the constitution as our FOUNDERS would interpret it, he will never earn it.

I understand not trusting him, I too withhold complete faith in him. I would say I have an optimistic desire/hope that he earns my trust.
I am pointing out the fact that he is not a virtual unknown. It should be reassuring that at this stage all of the hate filled microscopes focused on Trump have come up with absolutely nothing. The supposed scandals and racism are inventions of his opponents ; usually misunderstanding, misconstruing and twisting his actual words and/or meanings.

Personally I think Trump won't be a great President either. But I know Hillary won't.
It's actually astounding how fast these labels have been applied to Trump, who may be one of the more Left leaning Republicans in awhile.
While he has said some things about women, it's hard to find examples of him being outright racists.
Sorry, Muslims and Mexicans are not a race, and you cannot be racist towards them (funny story I saw my dad's birth certificate the other day while looking for mine, his parents are listed as white despite his father being from Mexico and his mother being from Mexican heritage. That part of my family has a very interesting history, with some involvement in the founding of Texas, and Laredo Texas, but I've never looked into it as my dad doesn't really talk about it and most of that side of the family barely speaks English or even communicates with us.)
He's done more for gays then Hillary ever has, even going so far as to say Trans people can use whatever bathrooms they want in his buildings, yet that whole part of America is against him.
And as far as I can find (granted I haven't looked really hard) there's no evidence of him doing anything to keep black people down.
Yet they all love Hillary, despite her flip flopping on Gay rights, Treating Bills mistresses like shit and even threatening to kill them, and I'm sure there's more against blacks, muslims, and mexicans.

My opinion on Trump is that he certainly is the better choice. We don't know how it is going to go with him as POTUS but we know how it will go if Hillary is in there. I am optimistic about a Trump presidency. A couple of things that I have noticed when watching videos of people going back and forth about Trump being racist. They all are worked up into yelling and then they say he is racist...then the reporter or whomever they are talking to asks "name one thing...one sentence that he has said that proves he is racist?" Their response is either he wants to deport all Mexicans and Muslims or they can't think of a sentence. He never said he wants to deport all those people.
I've never seen him with a hammer doing construction but there sure are a lot of buildings with his name on them. I think he is a guy that gets things done and we will hopefully see how that translates into a President that can get things done.

I think I mirror most if not all the comments I've read on this thread. It's really hard to understand how most Mexicans get riled up about Trump being racist, but when asked to show why he is racist, the 3rd grade answer is the best they can come up with, "he hates Mexicans and wants to ban Muslims", and that answer is based on nothing but emotion, because if we read what Trump has said and use our reasoning abilities, we cannot come to the conclusion that Trump is racist. I am Mexican by the way, but 1st generation US citizen. So I have taken a different approach...
Trump has said that he wants to build a wall to eliminate or at least minimize ILLEGAL immigration. He has also said that until a vetting process has been developed/defined, he wants to temporarily ban Muslims from coming into the US. I then tell my Mexican friends that I don't see anything wrong with this and they look at me like I am some strange animal. So I proceed to show them the following:
Article 32: Immigrants are welcome but only if they can contribute to the progress of the nation
Article 33: Priority to be given to scientists, technicians, any other discipline insufficiently covered by Mexicans, and to investors
Article 34: Immigrants must be useful to the country and be able to economically sustain themselves and anyone they are responsible for.
Article 37.4 Immigration can be denied if it will hurt the country
Article 37.7 Immigration can be denied if they have infringed national laws or if they have criminal records in another country
Article 38 (translated verbatim): "It's the faculty of the Secretaria de Governacion to suspend or prohibit the admission of foreigners when it is so determined by national interest."
Article 118 Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to reenter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years.These are only a few of the articles in Mexico's immigration laws, if those that read Spanish are interested in reading them, I can provide the link to the PDF. So I then simply tell them, "if Trump is racist, so is the Mexican government, and in their case, because it's enacted in their laws, it's institutional racism." There is usually stunned silence after that.
I agree that Trump may not be the best candidate, but Hillary will at best be an Obama 3rd term, which is not saying much. I am also pissed that Republicans can't get behind Trump. He was not my choice for candidate either, but he is who the people want, so now we need to get behind him.

Agreed. But that is how liberals and most people engaged in this discussion use the word. Heck, I've been told that because I oppose gay marriage I am racist, where a sexual preference can't be accused of being a race.
I think it's similar to how people born in the US are called American citizens, well America is a continent, not a country, so Brazilians, Costa Ricans, Venezulans, Mexicans, and Canadians are just as much American citizens as those born in the US.
