Great write-up. So very true. They are spreading, and the locust effect he speaks of can be seen virtually everywhere.

Colorado isn't getting infected with libs just from CA, the northern NM crowd flows into it just as much. The whole four corners area is covered with Indian Reservations. Those areas are a liberals wet dream.

When I left the Army and was (briefly) living at home while I was waiting for school to start I made a list of places I would want to live. It took the form of an excel spreadsheet, and I spent probably three hours a night working on it for about a month.
I went into detail on this thing, studying and ranking everything from the States population, political leanings and laws, taxes, school rankings, crime rates and insurance costs all the way to USDA plant zones, weather patterns, predicted nuclear targets and natural disaster models.
It boiled down to this: I wanted to live somewhere in #1 Northern Idaho or #2 North-Western Montana
The plan was to finish school then head for the hills. I major in Geochemistry and could easily find a job doing something in the geothermal field. However my plans were foiled when I met a girl, fell in love and got married.
She says she wants to move too, though not as expeditiously as I do, so due to all the normal excuses people give (Kids, jobs, money, family) I was expecting to be "stuck" here for at least another five years.
As I posted last week though, that five might have become a 1.5-2 rather quickly. Its too early to know for sure, but big/good things are a happening in the Ragnar house.
