Why I hate open Range days

What a dumbass. I hope no one else was injured because of his ignorance.
When Orkan first started teaching me how to shoot, we lived in town at the time and we would go down to the local range. It was fun, until other people started showing up. Then stupid things started happening. I remember we were shooting at one bench, the next bench over the dude had wrapped up shooting and started walking down range while there was live fire going on next to him. We yelled at him to stop and he looked at us like we were crazy and kept on walking....we stopped our shooting, yelled at others to stop and we all waited for his dumb-ass to return back to his bench.

I envy those of you with enough land to shoot safely on, or those of you who live in a place where you can just find a piece of open land and throw up a target.
I may be getting closer to that myself though. Big things happening in the Ragnar household.

I assume "big things" are good things! If so, I'm happy for you. Shooting is a huge part of our lives. We basically structure every decision we make around how it will affect our shooting lifestyle. Been that way for over a decade.

Indeed good things.
Leaving California was always in my future, but it had always been an "eventually" not a "on X date."
However in the last few weeks, a confluence of unlikely events have occurred, that resulted in both a reasonable timeline to get the hell out of dodge and the economic means to do so.
I still need a few more things to fall into place to make this happen, and even then it'll be another year or so, before I get to leave, but it's finally happening.Without getting overly optimistic, I may be able to BUY my new home by as early as January!
Also @mamalukino, sorry to derail your thread bud, just got excited is all.
