Natural Cough Relief



  • Here are some tricks I've learned over the years to naturally control your cough:

    1.) Warm honey lemon water.

    • 1 cup warm water, 1 tablespoon raw honey, 1/2 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon, stir together until mixed well. Enjoy. The honey coats the throat and the lemon helps relieve congestion and slow the cough.

    2.) Fresh Pineapple: the Bromelain found in pineapple helps control your cough and acts as an expectorant to get crud out of your chest.

    3.) Marshmallow Root: marshmallow contains mucilage which coats the throat and soothes.

    4.) Fresh Peppermint or Peppermint Tea

    5.) Peppermint and Eucalyptus oils

    6.) Fresh squeeze lemon or lime juice
