Luke 18:15-17 says, “Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”
It seems that Jesus always had time for children. Many times we tend to ignore children in order to have “more constructive” conversation with adults when in reality many times our best influence is with children. There are also a lot of lessons to be learned from the heart of a child. If we don’t receive the kingdom like a child, we will not enter it.

Ignoreing children has led to some dire consequences.
