Imitate Me

Philippians 3:17-19 says, "Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us. For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things."
Either we will live righteous and Godly lives imitating the lives of the faithful apostles, or we are enemies of the cross. When we live right, we have heaven waiting for us as described in the next few verses in the text. When we serve our own selves (belly), and shame is our glory, and our mind is only on earthly things, then the only end we have to look forward to is destruction. Put spiritual things in your mind. Think like Paul thought. Live like Paul lived. Serve God and help others like Paul did.
