Spirit and Truth

John 4:24 says, “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Worship is a very important part of Christianity. God doesn’t need our worship, yet our worship reminds us that God is in control and we are submissive to Him. Worship is one small way that we can thank Him for all that He has done for us. Worship however must be as God has commanded. It must be truthful, according to truth, and like God commanded. It must be in spirit, from our heart, sincere. If our worship is half hearted, lazy, or not done God’s way, then it is useless worship.
