Joy

3 John 4 says, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.”
As John wrote the short book of III John, he spoke of the great joy of knowing that his children walked in truth. His children in this text are more than just his biological offspring, but are all of those he has taught throughout his years of teaching Christ.
If you want great joy, lead someone to the truth. If you want to honor someone who has influenced you greatly, walk in the truth that they have helped you find.
