Herein in Love

1 John 4:10-11 says, “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.”
The full scope of love is seen in God’s love for us. It is seen in His willingness to send His son to die on the cross. It is seen in the fact that He loved us before we loved Him.
God loves us when we are wrong. God loves us when we turn from Him. God’s love for us is never ending and even when we betray Him, He wants nothing more than for us to be right. Seeing that God loves each of us and wants us right, Shouldn’t it follow that we would love one another?
