Genuine Love

Romans 12:9-10 says, "Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor."
Many, many problems in the world would be solved if these verses were adhered to. True love is rarely seen in our world even among those who claim to love each other. Evil is tolerated and even enjoyed at times from a distance by people who claim to be righteous. Evil should always be hated and abhorred. Good is trampled, beat down, and painted as evil. We must seek out true good and hold on to it with everything we have. There is a general hatred and dislike in our world. We must seek to have a love, concern, and compassion for one another even when we really don't know them. There is no general respect or honor show to people anymore. The world would be a better place if we loved genuinely, hated evil, held to good, loved one another, and showed honor to one another.
