Work while it is day

In John 9:4-5, Jesus said, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”God has given us time, opportunities, and open doors in this life. We are to take those opportunities to shine as lights in the world. Jesus knew that His time was short and opportunity to work for God was also short, so He used every minute He had to work for God and spread the light. Opportunities will come our way, but most opportunities are short lived. Most doors will close again at some point. Let us use the opportunities we are presented with to make a difference in this world. There will come a time when our opportunity for working for God is over. Will He be pleased with our work?
