I have a rather small Bench, so I have a lot of my equipment including the CPS on movable plates. I can’t help you as far as exact best location in regards to other gear because I don’t have it permanently mounted, but this is where i usually have it mounted.

I was in a hurry to get mine mounted as soon as it arrived so it got put in the middle -- its fine there was just looking for further ideas.
