Scoffers

Proverbs 15:12 says, “A scoffer does not like to be reproved; he will not go to the wise.”
Who do you go to for advice? Do you go to someone that is wise and good and someone that will steer you in the right direction? Do you go to someone who will tell you that you are right and “encourage” you regardless of where you stand. We grow when we are reproved by wise and righteous people. A scoffer does not like the wise because a scoffer does not want to learn, grow, or even consider the possibility that they might need to change. Go to the wise. Listen to their wisdom and desire to be reproved when needed.
