2019 bow season best yet for Deer!

Well, the blessings have once again fallen on our farm. Smoked this best last week as he got stupid chasing a doe and stopped at the loudest grunt I have ever yelled! 12-yard shot, he ran about 75 yards and piled up in the corn.

Impressive buck! I only wish more people would hold out for something like that, instead of shoot the first thing with horns they see.

@orkan We have a real problem with out of state hunters from PA. The new non-typical world record was shot just 10 miles from our place last year and now we are seeing farmers leasing their ground to out of state hunters like never before. These guys think a 120 class 8 point is a stud and they will shoot everyone they see.
We do our best to let them grow and focus on 160 class or better. This one grossed 166 5/8ths.

@kea Yeah... the hunters that travel to hunt are some of the worst. Few are good. I like the ones that are, and actually care about something. Most feel entitled, because the money they spent and the distance traveled, they think they are entitled to shoot anything, anywhere.
160 is a great deer. They don't even start looking shootable until 140, in my opinion. ... but yeah the guys from other states think a 120 is huge because all they ever see is 80" deer... because they all shoot everything with ANY horns on its head.
I wish more people would stay at home and wreck their own hunting instead of travelling everywhere and wrecking everyone's hunting. ;)
