A Call for Endurance

Revelation 14:12-13 says, "Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!"
We are called to endure this life and the troubles therein. We are called to keep the commandments of God. We are called to keep our faith in Christ. The reason: there are blessings to those who die in the Lord. There is rest from labors. Their deeds will follow. It is sometimes easy to become tired of enduring this world and continuing to live right, but the reward of endurance will far outweigh the struggles of the here and now.
