Even so, come!
-
John recorded the revelation from Christ. At the very end of the book Christ stated three times that He was coming soon. The first time was to promise a blessing to those who obeyed. The second Is a promise to repay each for what they have done. The last time Jesus simply said, “surely I am coming soon.” John respondEd with a longing for Christ to return. Not with fear or dread. Not with a desire to go to heaven, but not now. John was ready and anxious for the Lord to return. When we live like we should and understand the great promises of God, then we will anxiously and excitedly await His return as well!
Revelation 22:7 says, “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
Revelation 22:12-13 says, “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. [13] I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
**Revelation 22:20 says, “He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!”
