Job endured a great amount of pain at the hand of Satan. At one point he began to question God about why he was going through so much hardship. God replied with a whole chapter of questions for which Job had no answer. Job quickly realizes his place and this is his response:
Job 40:4-5 Says, “Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth. I have spoken once, and I will not answer; twice, but I will proceed no further.”
God then goes on to ask a second set of questions of Job for which Job didn’t have the answer. Sometimes we question God and why things happen the way they do. However we don’t know the things that God knows. We must trust that God knows best and that God wants what is best for us. We must trust that even when we are going through bad times that God is working it for Good and that He will always work it for good.
