Discipline of God

Hebrews 12:6-8 says, “For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.”
[7] It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? [8] If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.”Have you ever wondered how God discipline us? Is it possible that “bad” or “difficult” things happen to steer us in the right direction? When we face these difficult times we must ask ourselves the question, “am I living in such a way that God might be disciplining me?” We must let God steer us back to right by realizing when we are wrong and changing to do right.
