Worshiping God is simple. He has asked us to worship Him, but He has made the actions simple so that they are easy to understand. The difficult part of worship is keeping our heart in the worship as well. Worship without heart isn't worship at all...even if we are doing everything else right (John 4:24).

There are only 5 ways that God has asked us to worship Him. There are many ways in which we serve Him, but only a few ways in which we worship Him. They are outlined below:

    Sing To the Lord—Colossians 3:16
Singing is sometimes done with other Christians—Ephesians 5:17
Singing’s secondary purpose is to teach and admonish (Warn)—Colossians 3:16

Prayers must be for righteous things— James 4:3
Prayers must be with spirit (heart) and understanding (knowledge)—1 Corinthians 14:15

Lord’s supper is communion (fellowship) with other Christians—1 Corinthians 11:16
... Juice is to help one remember the blood of Christ that was shed
... Bread is to help one remember the body of Christ that was broken
