Boasting

Jeremiah 9:24 says, “but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the LORD.”
Practicing love, justice, and righteousness are the central part of Christianity. The purest form of these comes from God and can only be practiced by us when we know God. The only thing in this world which is worthy of boasting about is knowing God. All else is secondary.
