Here am I, send me!

Isaiah 6:8 says, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
When the Lord spoke to the prophet Isaiah, Isaiah was quick to answer the call. “Who shall I send?” “Who will go for us?” Isaiah heard the call and was more than willing to go teach the people about God.
What would we do if God called us to go teach the people? Would we be willing to go? Would we be excited about the call or would we be hesitant and nervous about it? Would we ignore the call and pretend it was not really God? The reality is that we have all been called to the Gospel and to spread the Gospel. Do we answer the call by living right and teaching the lost or do we ignore the call?
