Oven or Crock Pot Rotisserie Chicken

A favorite here. We love using Rotisserie chickens for a variety of meals including Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tso Chicken, Chicken Ranch Tacos, etc...
I have two in the oven as I type this. I'll post a picture of the final product once it's done. :)
4 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 (4 pound) whole chickens without giblets and neck
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Mix all the spices together in a bowl.
Rinse the chicken, pat dry with a paper towel. Rub each chicken generously with spices. Place in roasting pan. Bake uncovered for 5 hours. Minimum internal temperature for chicken is 180 degrees. Let chicken stand 10-15 minutes before carving.
Crock Pot: Follow all the directions the same, except you must place 1 chicken per crock pot on low for 8 hours.
