More than conquerors!
-
Romans 8:35-39 says, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
I am thankful for the love of God. I am thankful that He sent His son to die on the cross for my sins. It is God’s love that sent Christ because God wants us to be redeemed and saved. That is a love that cannot be taken away from us. We may go through hard times, but God still loves us and wants us to be saved. We may face opposition from rulers of this world or angels but God still loves us and wants us to be saved. Even in death God still loves us and wants us to be saved. There is nothing living or dead that can take God’s love from us. There is nothing in this world or the next that can take God’s love from us. God’s love is always there and always available and will make us conquerers when we trust in Him!
