2 Timothy 3:7 says, “always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”-
He has been describing some ungodly men in the previous verses and continues through the next several verses. This verse is also describing these ungodly men. They are always learning and never coming to a knowledge of the truth.
We can easily fall prey to this as well. Sometimes we have decided the outcome before we ever seek truth. Sometimes we reject the truth because of the source. Sometimes we reject truth because of how it was presented. Sometimes we reject truth because it did not fit our preconceived notions of what truth should be. Other times we fail to find truth because we never move beyond Basic principles.
It is very easy to be always learning yet never coming to a knowledge of truth. Instead let us seek truth and accept it when we find it regardless the outcome.
