Got it done yesterday at 1130am. got in the stand by my house because the farmers showed up to combine the corn. So I thought why not go sit for a bit and see if they spook something by me. went out at 11 and had him shot by 1120. come by after a doe that must have gotten spooked up by the combines. 30yrd shot with a 40yrd recovery. his lungs got deflated about the best they could with a bow.
The pictures don't really do the horns justice, because his body was so big, full weight was 260lbs.

Very nice,The most fun i had deer hunting is with a bow, you get up close and your heart pumps like a bass drum.
