    James 4:10 says, “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”

    Humility before God requires that we realize that God the creator. It requires that we trust that God knows best for our lives and obeying His Will is necessary. Humility requires that we submit to God as His creation. When we submit ourselves to Him, then He will exalt us. He will exalt us higher than we could ever exalt ourselves.
