Hornady 2019 new products
-
Hornady posted some new products on their website they plan to offer sometime in 2019 today, and there’s a couple of things that peaked my interest for various reasons.

Some highlights:
300PRC rollout (I wonder how different this is from the 300RCM which failed)
90 grain 6mm eld-x
88 grain .224 eld-m224 Valkyrie brass
22 Creedmoor brass
300 SAUM brass
26, 28, 30, 33 Nosler brass

The 224 Valkyrie brass has me excited as I’ve been trying to decide if I want a 6.5 Grendel, 6 Grendel, or 224 Valkyrie, and the 224 Valkyrie looks nice but I don’t think there’s any available, 6.5 Grendel has lapua brass, 6 Grendel i would have to neck down which I don’t want to do.

Pretty excited about the 300 PRC cartridge (already ordered the reamer and drew up a 7mmPRC reamer).
Also excited about the 22 Creedmoor brass. I bet ammo isn't far behind. Hopefully in a 75 or 80 ELD-M load. I bet we'll see a 55-60, 73/75, and a 80/88.

@tscustoms with them making brass I was also thinking SAAMI specs and loaded ammunition.
Is the PRC that much diferent from the RCM?
Edit: found my answer yea it’s way different then the 300RCM which was a short action, the PRC is a long action, same parent case though.
-
That medium action tscustoms does, might be the ticket ;)
Edit: ewps, just looked at the cartridge specs

Correct. The 300PRC is long action. 6.5 PRC is short (based off 300RCM)
Keep all those 3 letter designations straight! Lol

Besides the beltless case for reloaders, what would the advantage be over the 300WM?
