Comfortable with Suffering

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 says, "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; [4] Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. [5] For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ."God has never promised us that we won't go through difficult times in this life. On the contrary, we WILL endure strife and trouble in this life when we do what is right. However God has promised us comfort. Comfort for ourselves in knowing that we are doing what is right. Comfort in knowing that we are going to be in heaven. And comfort knowing that we can help and comfort others by sharing what we know. When sufferings abound in us, comfort also abounds!
