Awesome! But why would they be evaluating a $3000 rifle with Club? Would think you'd want to use R-50 to showcase the performance of an Olympic grade rifle.

@rr2241tx They need to do function, reliability, and longevity testing too. No reason to use expensive stuff for that.

@orkan Would have thought that Anschutz would have had all that data prior to placing a new model into production. I can safely say that function, reliability and longevity of the 54 series is pretty well settled. I currently shoot a 54 Match produced in 1954. All its parts still work perfectly. OTOH, it will take until the sun bakes the earth for my rifle to be fired enough to amass a pile of empties even approaching the one in the photo.

They specifically said in their instagram post that it was the first round of testing for their new 54.30 action. They may have just posted the pic... but clearly that was early testing of that new action.
