OCW for 223 AR-15
-
I shot this OCW search with Nosler CC 69's, Hodgdon Varget powder, LC10 brass, CCI 400 small rifle primers. I started the Varget at 23.4 and went up .3 grains to 26.1. It looks like I had a node at 24.3 and 25.2. Am I reading this right?

I like the 24.9-25.5 range. You could go with the 25.2 and be right there in the middle of a node.

There is a node that runs from 24.6 all the way to 26.1gr. I'd center my efforts at 25.5gr and work up a seating depth test.

I loaded up 50 rounds at 25.5. Plan is to shoot 5, 5 shot groups at 100 yards. If that goes well, I will go out to 200 yards, and shoot 5, 5 shot groups. If the 200 yard groups look good, I will put the last 10 over the chrono.
If I had a bolt gun, I would play with seating depth. But, being this is an AR-15, I loading to magazine length.
If the weather holds up, I going to shoot them this coming weekend.

Look forward to the results!
