Building a Breech Block
-
Finally have all the parts scrounged up to really finish my second home made Martini. Got the trigger frame on ebay. Got the rest of the internals from New Zeland. I am now in the process of building a left hand breech block. The firing pin retainer has 15/32-26 threads. No tap available so will have to substitute and make a new retainer.

The only 15/32 tap available is 32 tpi and it is only $39.00 plus shipping so I will probably go with 1/2-28 for 1/3 the money. I will still have to make a new retainer. Maybe another 2 weeks before completion. Wayne

Looking good Wayne! Remember, don't get in a hurry. ;)

Received the tap today. Tapped the breech block and made the striker retainer.

All finished and installed. Now to do a test run to make sure everything operates the way it is supposed to.

Looks like victory is within your grasp!
