South Dakota Steel Classic 2018

  • Another Steel Classic PRS Match in Orient, SD is in the books!

We had the honor of being the title sponsor this year, and just as in previous years, the SDSC is the shoot that all other shoots will strive to be! Tremendously fun and challenging, yet a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere of wonderful people.

It was great to see all the new and old faces alike! We'll post more news and updates as time progresses. It always takes folks a while to settle in and share things after this big match.

This year as I wandered around I was on the look out for a shooter that had the right rifle, but the wrong optic. A shooter that was humble but enthusiastic. A shooter that had some experience shooting, but was new to PRS. A shooter that knew good equipment mattered, but didn't have, or couldn't have spent money in an optic. Jason Wolf was that shooter. Like a fly on a barricade I listened to Jason talk politely with fellow shooters throughout the entire match. Jason's demonstration of character and professionalism, as well as having one of the worst optics at the entire event... earned him a Tangent Theta TT525P! It'll look good on his Lone Peak barreled action from TS Customs!

As I tell everyone about Jason's vortex PST scope...

When he learns he won the Tangent Theta!

He could have got run over by an 18 wheeler on the way home and I don't think he'd have lost his smile.
