Brenda's Brassica soup

If you only thought you did not like brassica's like broccoli and cauliflower try this.
Steam 1/2 cup each of broccoli and cauliflower together. Drain and save back 1/2 cup steaming liquid. Mash leaving some chunks.
Add:
- reserved liquid
- 1/2 cup cream or 1/2 & 1/2
- 2 tbls butter
- 16 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- pinch of salt
Blend all ingredients to desired thickness
Adding more cream as desired.Can be eaten as soup or spread over baked spud with nice ribeye as a side.*
