Calling Cats
-
Anyone who has attempted to call cougars (the 4 legged kind) bobcats or lynx can appreciate this huge AZ kitty.

Sweet Jesus.
Well now I won't be able to hunt alone for awhile now. Thanks for that
I deer hunt in prime lion country in California, and because its California and the government is smarter than everyone, we're not allowed to shoot them.
So we have run away lion populations and dwindling deer populations. Thus the lions start attacking dogs, cats and small kids
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2014/09/11/report-california-mountain-lion-that-attacked-6-year-old-boy-is-dead-after-hunt/I get up there once a month or so in an attempt to help out the land owner with some chores and kill off some of the damn coyotes in the area. I see lion sign frequently.
I 'worry' about a lion coming into the E-caller and finding me (prone, with ear plugs in, focused down my rifle) before I spot him.
I'm 6'4" and 260ish so if a small one jumps on me, and doesn't put me down immediately I think I'd be able to get him off me.One that big I don't know about..... I might have to start carrying a side arm too.
