Another 40X repeater enters the world!

A collective effort between myself and my good friends Travis Stevens @tscustoms and Wayne Juergens ( @rimfire ) has allowed another repeater 40X 22lr to grace my collection.
McMillan A3A Edge carbon fiber stock
Timney 517 trigger
Benchmark 16.5 twist 3-grove #3 barrel
A reamer spec developed by Wayne and I (mostly Wayne) ;)
TS Customs camo cerakote
Custom bottom metalIt's wearing a bushnell elite 3-12 with G2 reticle for the time being. Not sure what will go there permanently. Finding high end scopes with the right size and parallax for rimfires is difficult. I have another Thunderbeast 22 takedown on the way for it as well, to be coated to match.
TS Customs sure does a shitty fit and finish. ;)

I'll let you know when it isn't rainy and windy... but I shot it in the white when it wasn't finished and it was printing in the .4's with boring regularity. This one isn't for super precise shooting like my others are. This one is for a handy walking rifle. Short and light but with "big rifle" features.

I grabbed a random lot number of center X and started shooting. Rough zero on the sighters and dialed it in as I went along. Still plenty cold and breezy for rimfire shooting, so I didn't expect much. Certainly has potential! 5-shot groups at 50yds, shot from indoors off bench. 32 degrees, 5-8mph wind 3:00.
