DOJ Reclassifies Bump Fire Stocks as Machine Guns

The U.S. Department of Justice formally submitted a regulation on Saturday to ban “bump stocks,” a modification to high-capacity rifles that lets them fire like an automatic weapon.

President Donald Trump signed a memorandum in February directing the department to make the regulatory change, which must now be approved by the Office of Management and Budget before it is published and subject to a commentary period.

And we lose our rights one step at a time.

  • @rhyno

    By Fiat rather than legislation.

  • This is no different from any other law created every day.

With the stroke of a pen, the "nobles" declare an entire segment of the "peasants" to be criminals. Once labelled "criminals" the "nobles" can do anything to them. It is only EVER about control.

Go watch a movie from the dark ages, then compare it to today. The only difference between Braveheart and what is actually taking place every day now is semantics. The ideology of the rulers is the same as it's always been.

You'd have to be ignorant and deluded to believe we have freedom in this country.

  • It amazes me how many people simply don’t care.

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard “Bumpstocks are not the anthill to die over”

With this they have set a precendant for others to follow, your anthill is better describes as an ice burg, you see this as a little issue you can Cruze right by because you fail to see the mass underneath the surface.
