1 Corinthians 1:20-21 says, “Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.”
Sometimes it seems that the more “learned” people become the farther they get from truth. The wisdom of man and the wisdom of God are two drastically different things. Man does not know God through worldly wisdom, but rather through a study of the message. While Godly wisdom is considered foolish by those of the world, it is the saving power of God. When we seek salvation through worldly wisdom and learning we will fail. When we seek salvation through the message of God we will find what we are looking for.
