Colossians 4:6 says, “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”
The way in which we speak can make a huge difference in how it is received. When our children take an attitude with us, it doesn’t matter what they say they are going to be in trouble. We should always strive to speak properly to people with the realization that the truth will be better received if we present it with a little “grace and salt”.
