Bullets From The Bible 1-25-18

Ephesians 6:10-12 says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Sometimes I think we forget who our battle is really with. Sometimes I believe we think our battle is with evil people and we forget the real source of the problem. The core of the problem is that we are continually fighting a spiritual battle against Satan himself. Now Satan May be using people and situations against us, but ultimately our battle is with Satan. We can fight a battle with Satan and win, but it requires that we have the power of God to do so. We must have His armor of protection and His offensive weapon in order to overcome Satan. It is a comfort to know that the power does not lie within ourselves...but rather is dependent upon our willingness to submit to God. When we submit to God, then His power is what will allow us to overcome Satan!
