Bullets From The Bible 1-21-18

1 Corinthians 3:18-21 says, “Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; and again, “The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours.”
There are many very smart people in this world. There are people who have gone to school for many years to learn and know what they know. There are people who have spent a lifetime working first hand at a trade to become the most knowledgeable in that line of work. Yet the all of the knowledge of the smartest, wisest person in the world is only foolishness to God. Many times we want to question God, His word, or His methods. Who are we to question God? Who are we to think we are smarter than Him or that we understand or have things truly figured out? The only way we can truly become wise is when we realize how little we really know and trust God and the wisdom and knowledge He has provided to us.
