Bullets From The Bible 1-18-18

Daniel interpreted the writing on the wall for the king and even though the interpretation was not good for the king, he was still thankful to Daniel. Notice what transpired next.
Daniel 6:3-7 says, “Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm. So the governors and satraps sought to find some charge against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find no charge or fault, because he was faithful; nor was there any error or fault found in him. Then these men said, “We shall not find any charge against this Daniel unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.” So these governors and satraps thronged before the king, and said thus to him: “King Darius, live forever! “All the governors of the kingdom, the administrators and satraps, the counselors and advisors, have consulted together to establish a royal statute and to make a firm decree, that whoever petitions any god or man for thirty days, except you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions.”
The king realized how important and valuable Daniel was and the other wise men were not happy about that. They set out to destroy Daniel in any way possible. They knew that he was blameless in life so they hand to find some other way to get Daniel in trouble. They trumped up a law that they knew Daniel would violate in keeping God’s laws and then got him cast in the lions den for violating it.
Wicked people can’t stand righteousness. Wicked people will go out of their way and find any means possible to destroy a righteous person. Daniel just continued trusting God and obeying Him regardless of the difficulties he faced as a result. In the end God protected and provided for Daniel just as He always had.

... and there you have it.
Throughout history, the LAW and men of the law (cops) have been persecuting righteous people. It's truly the only thing free men have to fear. Cops.
For a short period of time in this country, the police respected and feared the public. Hasn't been that way for a LONG time. Now, all that needs to happen is for you to be accused of something, and from that moment on the police will treat you as if you are guilty of the crime. They will do anything and everything to make the accusation stick. They have no interest in the truth.
