Bullets From The Bible 1-16-18

Proverbs 15:8 says, “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.”
While sacrifice is something that is good, the wicked offering sacrifice is something that God hates. Do we think that we can live a wicked life and offer up a small token sacrifice to Him and all will be well? Do we think we can live a wicked life and offer great sacrifices and be right? Do we think that God needs the sacrifices?
On the other hand, the trusting, faithful prayers of the upright are His delight. God is looking for trust and obedience. All the religion in the world is useless if we don’t trust and obey Him.
